Does spelling matter? Poor spelling might lead to a poorer vocabulary and, with fewer words, it is harder to develop shades of thought; poor spelling on a website suggests poor attention to detail which could reflect adversely on a visitor’s perception of the quality offered by that business; so yes, spelling does matter. It seems rioters are even more expensive than we had thought!
Once again, not really a spelling error but . . . .
Two Age UK ambulances petrol bombed by rioters costing £45,000
Now, we really abhor this dreadful conduct but suspect that the rioters are worth less than 1p each, not £45,000 - in fact, they are probably worthless.
